Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream

Everyone knows about my new love affair with Mario Badescu skincare. I have turned my friends onto the line, and have even made a convert of my sister (who is not an easy sell). The one question I always get when I start raving about the line is “where can I find it?”….my favorite line is now being sold at Ulta.

I recently decided to try out two new products for my nighttime routine, and I am pleased to say that Mario Badescu did not let me down. Because of my recent illness, my skin has been a mess.  Antibiotics, pain killers, and anti-inflammatory medications have wrecked havoc on my already acne prone face. I was nervous about returning to using a nighttime cream, but decided to experiment with a simple oil free routine to get my skin back in shape. Here are the products that did just that, and returned me to a healthy glow.

I start with Seaweed Cleansing Lotion, an alcohol free tonic that is absolutely refreshing and helps to disinfect dry and sensitive skin. This “mild Witch Hazel formula removes pore clogging debris and anti-inflammatory Seaweed and Aloe Extract soothe sensitive areas”. I never thought I would be a toner type of gal, but I am now a follower. It has become my favorite step in my skincare routine, and keeps my pores tight, my skin clean and super soft.

Next, I have been using their Seaweed Night Cream. This formulation is rich without being greasy, and feels extremely silky and light on the skin. The great thing about this formula is that it does not clog your pores, yet doesn’t sacrifice super hydration. The company says that the cream is enriched with “Seaweed, Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid to soften, hydrate and nourish the skin without clogging pores. It leaves the skin feeling soft and silky.” I couldn’t describe it any better.

Now that Ulta is carrying this line, you have no excuse not to try it. The prices are reasonable, and there is a formulation for every type of skin. If Mario Badescu can take my skin from sickly to healthy, I am sure it will do wonders for you!

  1. Hi! I dig your blog! Sounds like you really love these products, so much that you convinced me to at least try one, the Seaweed Cleasing Lotion. I will go out this weekend to buy and try it! I’ll let you know how my skin likes it!
