Ok, let’s just lay the cards out; Megan Fox is without a doubt one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. With her raven hair, luminous skin, crystal clear blue eyes, and her perfect lips, most pale in comparison. The only negative thing I ever noticed about Fox was her overwhelming need to use more makeup than she actually needed. Thankfully in recent years, Megan has begun to use a lighter hand with the makeup brushes, and allowed more of her natural beauty to emerge. Here are the tools you need to create your own Megan Fox Red Carpet look:
The skin is the best feature of this look. It’s hydrated, smooth, and glowing. To begin, be certain to use a moisturizer before applying foundation as well as a good primer to set the makeup. Next, use a foundation brush to apply an illuminating BB Cream like Diorskin Nude. If powder is required for your skin type, apply a light dusting to the t-zone only.
Dust a small amount of light to medium pink blush to the apples of cheeks. We like bareMinerals Ready Blush in the shade, “Light Nude Pink”. Next apply a luminizer like Stila All Over Shimmer to the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, brow bone, and inner corners of the eyes.
For this look, eyeshadow will be your best friend. Choose a medium taupe shade like Bobbi Brown’s eyeshadow in the shade, “Warm Taupe”. Apply the shadow to the crease of the eyes, extending slightly at the corners. Use the same shadow to smudge under the bottom lash line. Next, use a nude colored eyeliner like NYX Wonder Pencil to line the bottom waterline. Finish with several coats of black lengthening mascara to top lashes and a light coat on the bottom lashes. Maybelline’s new Big Eyes mascara is perfect for this look since it’s equipped with a regular sized brush for top lashes and a tiny brush for bottom lashes.
Megan Fox’s eyebrows in this look and every other are perfectly groomed with an amazing arch. See a professional for your best brow shape, and keep your brows looking amazing by using a brow powder like the eyebrow kit from E.L.F to fill in bare spots and create depth.
The lips in this look are light and glossy. Avoid a lip pencil or heavy matte lipstick. Instead use a pale pink gloss to reflect light and draw focus to the lips. Once again, Bobbi Brown takes the cake with her lipgloss in the shade, “Petal”.
Pair this look with retro waves and a deep side part and you have a glammed up look that will command the attention of everyone in the room.
